Title: Mortgage Closing Specialist (Remote Position) Job Overview: Builder Finance Inc. (BFI) makes business purpose residential mortgage loans. Loan programs are described at BuilderFinance.com and are primarily construction loans and rental loans. Loans are offered coast-to-coast. BFI is backed by stable capital and, unlike many competitors, continued to close new loans throughout 2020 and even offer accommodations to borrowers greatly impacted by COVID. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the loan closing process and represent BFI throughout the loan closing process. Responsibilities include: preparing, reviewing and distributing loan documentation and settlement statements; handling the title insurance process, including the recording/perfection of relevant liens; coordinating loan closings and initial disbursement of funds; and ensuring proper recording and filing of lending instruments.
