STG International is seeking a District Medical Advisor to provide medical consultation and case review on Worker's Compensation cases. This will primarily serve the Department of Labor (DOL) on Federal Employee Compensation Act cases. The District Medical Advisor evaluates workers' compensation case files, interprets medical reports, evaluates medical evidence and test results, translates technical medical language, and provides guidance or instruction to customer agencies regarding general medical issues that pertain to workers' compensation cases. STG International is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist t o perform EKG reads for FOH (Federal Occupational Health ) . Each physician will receive work on a case by case basis and will be compensated for their work at an hourly rate for time spent performing the reviews. T he physician will be compensated as a 1099 contractor , and therefore must provide their own malpractice insurance. Work will be performed remotely at FOH offices or from the physician's home/office and will require use of a computer and email. The position is around 10 hrs of work per week done remotely, with a potential visit to the facility once per month.
