Responsibilities: The role of the Senior Salesforce Administratoris to provide effective capabilities to a global sales organization on a variety of field facing capabilities on the SFDC platform. The role requires working withinaglobal virtualteam of Salesforce Admins and UI specialists to design and implement configuration changes in a sandbox, test changes, and ultimately deploy changes to production. In addition to technical skills, the Salesforce Administrator must have a good understanding of field facing business processes in order to gather requirements and represent Sales on the Governance Board. The Sr Salesforce Administrator must also understand the relationship between the sales processes and the processes in other parts of the business such as Marketing, Presales, Order Processing, Services and Support. A good understanding of all the Salesforce data and functionality is also required in order to build reports and aid with data management such as mass updates, profile administration, managed package and platform license management.

Specific job duties include:
  • Second line support of Cases escalated from regional Salesforce Admins
  • Support both employee users and partner users who use the Partner Community for opportunity management
  • Provisioning of users and general security management including changes to profiles, roles, etc.
  • Configuration of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validations, in Salesforce Lightning
  • Provide guidance in the design of enhancements to Salesforce based on a comprehensive understanding of both Salesforce and the business processes
  • On-boarding of new users which includes both individual and group training
  • Creation and modification of Lead Assignmentto Salesrules
  • Liaison to a number of teams such as the Marketing Automation team and Order fulfillment teams
  • Assist with data migrations and integrations to other systems as needed
  • Creation and modification of custom Reports and Dashboards for various parts of the organization such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance
  • Data Management duties include assisting with bulk updating and data cleanup
  • Provide support for the ongoing global Apttus CPQ implementation for Sales
  • Become well-versed in each new Salesforce release and the resulting business impacts
  • Continuing education of all Salesforce Admin functionality within the system
  • Represent users on the Governance Board, implement new functionality as directed by the Board, and then train and communicate with users as needed
  • Test functionality that is part of a project release or a maintenance release
  • Contribute to documentation as needed
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce administrative experience with Salesforce Admin certification preferred
  • Experience working with multiple managed package applications on Lightning, including UX solutions like SKUID (desired).
  • Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and oral/written communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented, with strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of Demand Tools or Data Loader preferred
  • Experienced working with a multitenant release management process and capability like Copado
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple active projects
  • Ability to take initiative and even lead other team members as needed
  • Good balance required between a solid technical ability and a solid understanding of business processes
  • Must be willing to travel periodicallyand be flexible to collaborate across multiple time zones and geographies
