The Senior Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring our project teams are provided with people who have the right skills and capabilities to deliver successfully to our clients with emphasis on strategic allocation, deployment and utilization. This position will also manage skills enhancement, professional and career development for our Services team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Develop an understanding of the business, strategy and needs of the professional services organization to positively influence resource allocation decisions
* Develop an in-depth understanding of professional services roles, responsibilities and workload
* Serve as the key interface and point of contact for Project and Program Managers for resource scheduling requests
* Focus on balancing workload, optimizing utilization, promoting flexibility, and providing learning experiences and challenging opportunities while balancing business and client needs
* Effectively build and manage relationships with management and business unit team members
* Ensure ongoing professional and career development of team members
* Provide resource solutions based on industry, technology, partner and geographical trends
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, technical ability and collaboration
* Leverage our resourcing scheduling tools to provide accurate utilization and forecasting data
* Take an active role in Onboarding teams to support assimilation and engagement of Services new hires
* Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders focused on accelerating the development of our people
* Collaborate with leaders to identify issues and to develop and execute action plans for individual and team development, and workforce planning to address short and long term needs/skill gaps
* Enters and maintains resource capacity and resource allocation data for professional services and ensures accurate reflection in the resource management system / tool
* Deliver regular and ad-hoc resource reports, including forecasted resource demand, capacity and gap analyses
* Proactively identifies and communicates resource related gaps, issues and risks to business based on analysis of resource data
* Collaborates with leaders to deliver, maintain and update resource management processes and guidelines to ensure business needs are addressed.
