Job Description

So where would you come in? As our Training Coordinator, you'll be responsible for making sure the Menu Team knows exactly how to create & modify menus while balancing efficiency and quality. You'll jump right in and become an expert on our robust style guide, our workflows, the tools we use, and how we interact with our partners and with internal teams. You'll be responsible for facilitating & training new members of the team, re-training as processes change and tools evolve, creating & modifying training materials and ensuring content is up to date, and supporting new hires as they ramp to full contributing members of the team.

During your first month, you will:

* Learn ezCater inside & out: Our company mission, goals, culture & people are at the center of the ezCater experience, and we want you to know it all.
* Learn to create & modify menus: You'll undergo a full training cycle to start building your expertise and experience in the work.
* Listen. You'll be the eyes & ears of our new training classes in order to begin to conceptualize how to build a best-in-class training program.
* Give feedback: How can we improve our process today? What did or didn't work for you? We're listening.
* Schedule training: You'll be responsible for coordinating training cycles or one-off sessions as needed for Menu Team members of all levels and skills.

By three months, you will:

* Organize and facilitate training: You'll jump right into the role of guide, piecing together plans and keeping trainees and other stakeholders on track as they move through the program.
* Curate team resources: We'll expect you to keep our handbook pages & presentations up-to-date and consistent, as well as create new content as processes evolve.
* Collate feedback: We believe in improving through experience, so we'll expect you to build feedback loops and continuously iterate, challenge, and improve our program.
* Practice: You'll continue to grow your skills in the work and get practical experience with the tools and processes you'll train on.

By six months, you will:

* Be a subject matter expert: No matter how new or well-developed the processes may be, we expect you to hop in, learn, and feel confident explaining to others how to do the same.
* Train, track & support: You'll be responsible for measuring individual metrics for ramping new hires, intervening with support, and sharing insights with leaders about their needs and progress.
* Communicate & innovate: Team leaders will need to consult you when there are changes to our work, and you'll be in charge of planning, creating, and delivering a training that tracks.
* Build & reorganize resources: We'll expect you to own our handbook, from the creation of new resources to the organization based on changing needs.
* Be a cultural ambassador: You'll embody ezCater culture as the guide and go-to coach for new members of the Menu Team.

What you should bring to the table:

* Experience training, coaching, or instructing is required.
* A wealth of food knowledge. ezCater and/or menu knowledge is a huge plus!
* A creative approach to building content and conducting presentations with various learning styles in mind.
* Proven success giving and receiving feedback.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Curiosity, empathy, and an open mind.
* Organizational expertise, with a focus on planning and scheduling.
* A passion for innovation and constantly trying new things - If something isn't working, we fix it. And then we fix it again.
* A beyond helpful attitude.

Salary Range: $56,500 - $62,500
