Overview

FUNCTION:

To be a strategic partner in the development, implementation and management of recruitment and staffing initiatives for a designated area. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meets with other recruiters and operations team to discuss both short and long-term needs. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Rehab Directors and Operations team Update and monitor the applicant tracking system, working closely with each Rehab/Program Manager to make sure each opening is valid, and all efforts for each opening is communicated. Develop area specific marketing and advertising strategies to achieve hiring goals within budget expectations (cold calling, direct mail,social media, employee referral, University Recruitment, relocation recruitment and conference calls).

Manage campus recruiting activities and other recruiting events

Conduct an initial telephone interview of all applicants and gather all necessary information regarding education, experience, training, job knowledge, and salary requirements. Provide information on the company, its policies, benefits and available opportunities to prospective candidates. Facilitate entire interview process by managing all parties involved including the candidate and Managers. Maintain necessary files covering applicants, telephone interviews, and other pertinent hiring documentation. Work with the Human Resource Department and partner closely with the Area Employment Managers. Provide assistance for critical openings outside of your designated recruiting area. Conduct analysis of staffing mix and open positions and provide operations with recruitment and or staffing alternatives to meet business plan objectives. Responsible for the attainment of monthly/annual hiring goals. Ensure minimum staffing requirements are met while recruiting to fill open positions. Accountable for all aspects of the recruitment process (recruiting, candidate qualification, candidate referral, interview follow-up, reference/license checking,

benefit overview, extending offers and facilitating the new-hire process.)

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of recruiting issues. Demonstrated ability to close candidates and create alternative recruiting strategies. Approximately 2-5 years of recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced (healthcare) staffing environment a plus, but not required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational and teamwork skills. Possess the ability to effectively work independently, with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, internet etc.) Have a willingness to work fluctuating and flexible hours to include evenings and weekends. Must have familiarity with physical and occupational therapy, speech language pathology.

Must be able to communicate effectively with corporate and field management
