About this Job

Help establish a clear, consistent technology vision within the Compensation and Commission space through collaboration, influence, and enablement
Defines the technical roadmap for aligned teams
Stay informed on initiatives across the enterprise to help product owners and IT leadership effectively prioritize
Influences prioritization to ensure applications are enhanced, modernized and maintained to support partnership growth, business development and to meet the long-term product vision
Identify and assess the organizational impact of enterprise architecture and standards, including change in skills, processes and structures
Strategic partner: You will partner closely with the Sr. Director, Sr. Scrum Master, Sr. Product Owner, Engineering Manager and aligned Architect to help guide, lead, and influence the work aligned to the agile squads
Motivated mentor: Exercise your technical chops while coaching and collaborating with more junior software engineers
Forward thinker: Leading by example, you'll promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by finding solutions that increase efficiency, accelerate the adoption of new technologies and enhance profitability
10+ years of related software engineering experience
A comprehensive understanding of agile environments
Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies
A history of practicing DevOps and SecOps


Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS
Experience developing or architecting cloud-hosted, responsive web applications using Java and SpringBoot
Awareness of security policies, experience with LDAP, OAuth2/OIDC
Hands-on experience with React.js or Vue.js, and Node.js
Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs
Demonstrated pursuit of optimizing CI/CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub/Bitbucket, Bamboo, JMeter, etc.)
Expertise in a wide variety of database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MySql, Postgres)


A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
